2nd day of wedding gown shopping
Yeah, it made me sad, the breasts are the biggest complaint with 4168 (first one). I am only a B/C so we had Tiffany try it on and she has big breasts and it still make them squished a little more like footballs. Now I am smaller and surprisingly my two other friends who have looked at the pics still both like #1 best, and think the alterations will fix the breast problems. Well, I like Mori Lee dresses so I used her website and the store search. =-) Then I just called everyone to see if they had particular dresses. The only one that I disliked purely based on phone call was Eduardo's. I called to look for 2164 or 4168 and the man there was like, "oh, come in, I'm sure we have that dress, we have so many beautiful dresses, you come in and we'll find one for you". Everyone else took the time to specifically look up the ones I particularly wanted to try on. I actually really liked the bridal store in Rolling Oaks Mall, it was dead and the 2 sales people worked with me trying on different features of gowns to discover what was flattering and what wasn't. And The store I went to yesterday on Culebra, Bridal Glamour. I hated Davids Bridal. Mayfair Bridal was eh, poor lighting and cramped quarters are my primary complaints there. Prices were best at Mayfair and they do have their own alterations person with a $200.00 cap, so even major alterations/bustling will never exceed $200.00. I may end up ordering from that shop; if I don't go entirely online, where the dress is about $100.00 cheaper than any bridal shop - but locally will include probably a cleaning and pressing of the gown, and I haven't researched how much that costs yet - that may very well make up the $100.00 difference.
