New Spider-Man Video Game, Movie Trailers Hit The Web
As the Black Cat.The video game is scheduled for release Oct. 4 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii and Nintendo 3DS.
In the video game trailer, a voiceover offers, “A hero must always fight, even if it’s not his enemy, not his world, not his time.” Text offers: “There is no past . . . without Spider-Man. There is no future . . .without his legend. There is no present . . . without a hero.”
The new film, scheduled for release July 2012, reinvents the legend of how Parker came to live with his aunt and uncle, without Mary Jane and in an overall much darker mode(!) than the last three films. And still expect lots of angst: “We all have secrets. The ones we keep . . . and the ones that are kept from us,” Parker/Spider-Man offers in the trailer.

The film also stars some other well-known names like Laura Vandervoort (V, Smallville), Jessica Stroup (90210), Giovanni Ribisi (Avatar, My Name Is Earl), as well as Community's Joel McHale, who will be playing the part of Kunis' obnoxious boss.

In 2010, Vandervoort appeared in the miniseries Riverworld two parts in which she plays Jessie Machalan, the bride of Matt Ellman war correspondent who wakes up after the death of a planet populated by all who have ever lived on Earth. It was also announced on her official website that Vandervoort was attached to a feature film titled, which also stars Ray Liotta and Kevin Zegers. During her appearance at San Diego Comic-Con in 2010, it was confirmed that she will return to Smallville for the last season. She appeared as a guest star for two special episodes.
