Built in 1969, the Class D complex sits on 10.2 acres on the south side of Summer Avenue east of Graham Street in Summerdale Subdivision. The complex backs up to Sam Cooper Boulevard. It has two swimming pools and a clubhouse.

What happens to the home owner if a Contractor forges the mortgage companies name on a $250,000 insurance check, cashes it, spends it, and does not do the work? Is the home owner still covered if he/she chose the contractor? Are there any laws that protect me? Do I have to sue? Does the insurance company cover the theft of insurance money? My house is demolished, and I am not going to continue paying my mortgage on a house that I have not lived in since 1/3/08.
First I would like to apologize for having been irresponsible in engaging in a business relationship with Lisa Brown-Simmons an ex-girl friend that I refuse to give an engagement ring to in December 2008. Since that time, Lisa said that she would get her revenge on me. Well, I guess the posting of this blog and Lisa's posting on Ripp-Off.com has been her source since the attorney that she hired (Carole Hamilton of Dallas at 214-748-0681) sent me a letter asserting that I had breached a contract and violated the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act in conjunction with her client Lisa Simmons. After my reply to Lisa's attorney in which stated in part" It is our position that your client breached the contract and created a tortuous interference with the contract by specifically not allowing access to the property after one visit to the property for inspection and a complete evaluation of the damages that differed from the work described by your client. Upon the second visit to the property to set up the job site for work to begin, we were told by the renters that someone else had painted the property inside and was returning later to do the roof. Upon questioning your client, it was evident that she was trying to get a person called "Brooks" to do the work or had started when our representatives arrived at the property", and further stated " again, your client conduct in this matter has been driven by emotions from a personal relationship with me whereas I refuse to marry her in December of 2008 or give her an engagement ring for Xmas.I have emails and text messages to lay out my facts and of course your answer would be that's irrelevant, however, its not because that was her reason for tortuously interfering with the contracts between she and I". To this date there have been no suit filed by this attorney and I advise the attorney that I would counter sue her and her client if she filed a frivolous lawsuit.It is our policy not to sue our customers unless its the last resort to resolve.
I also was ripped off by T. William McIntyre - Thelton William McIntyre or McIntyre Home Builder/Construction. I had damages from Hurrican Ike. Paid contractor amount he quoted and issued check from insurance proceeds. Check was immediatly cashed in December. It is now March and no work has been performed. When contractor is contacted, only profane words and excuses are given. I had to hire an attorney, but our goal is to also have this crook behind bars. He has several breach of contract lawsuits against him. He is a crook and not to be trusted by any consumer.
